Dear Mr. Mejia:

It is with excitement that I forward my resume for consideration as a Textbook Development Specialist within your organization. Throughout my teaching career I have worked to empower students and improve knowledge retention through interesting and memorable classroom presentations.

I have earned the reputation as a hard-working education professional with the ability to teach abstract concepts in an understandable and meaningful manner. I also have a sharp eye for detail and expert knowledge of teaching methodologies.

My resume details the success I have enjoyed as a teacher. What may not be obvious is my ability to communicate and tackle new challenges. I also possess the ability to see difficult tasks from conception to completion. I have enjoyed the time I have spent in the classroom as a teacher but I am ready to undertake new professional challenges. This is why I am interested in pursuing a new career path as a Textbook Development Specialist.

I would love the chance to meet with you and discuss how my teaching expertise can be of benefit to your publishing firm. I will contact you soon to discuss this possibility. You are also welcome to call me at your convenience at (702) 334-2201.

Sincerely,

Darvis Bennington
