Recruiting Letter – Downsizing Relocating March 11, 2010 Edward J. Suitor Dear Mr. Suitor: As an experienced professional with over a decade of accounting experience I am currently seeking new employment. My current employer will be phasing out my position in three months due to downsizing. If the right job is available I would consider relocation anywhere in the United States. As you will see in my attached resume I have experience and qualifications in many types of accounting. Many companies are experience economic pressures and employees with diverse backgrounds, such as myself, have a lot to offer. In my current job I am responsible for oversight of several client projects. I also oversee and manage several employees and help with business planning. I would appreciate the chance to meet with you and discuss my qualifications and any job openings you may be aware of. I will call you next week to discuss the possibility of scheduling an interview.
