My tenure at Columbia has been greatly enhanced because of your exceptional help. As graduation nears I am wondering if you would be able to write a reference letter for me to aid in my job search. The job I am seeking requires a high level of technical skill, creativity and initiative. You have complemented me in the past on my work ethic, grasp of the material and commitment to quality.
